Usually I just eat. But now its turned into a full on mathematical equation.
This is what I have to do.
My BMR is 1798. This is worked out when I put my weight and height in on the 12wbt website. This represents how many calories I can eat to stay the same as I am now.
So to loose weight I need to be in a calorie deficit. By eating 1200 calories a day, I have already clocked up a daily deficit of 598 calories. Weekly thats 4186 calorie deficit. Which works out to be just under a kg a week weight loss.
To loose more than that I need to burn at least 500 calories a day making my calorie deficit for the week just over 7000 and weight loss of just over 1kg. More than that is huge and what Im aiming for.
